As part of a large NSW Open Cut Coal mining operation your focus is on short to medium term planning. Beauty of this role is you won't get stuck on short term planning. What the Tech Services Team is after is someone who wants to get involved in some projects over the 5 year mark. This way Long Term Planning becomes an option in the future. What is unique about this site is the training you will receive. Ongoing mentorship is provided by the Tech Services Superintendent. Regular internal and external training initiatives are also on offer. Your experience in mine design software and mine scheduling software in an Open Cut environment will stand you in good stead to move into a Senior role within 12 months.

Take responsiblity for the short to medium terms planning of the proposed expansion to this Open Cut Coal mine in the Hunter Valley. Work with the long term planning team, assisting them to bring 5 years plans into fruition. There are also opportunities to get involved in some more strategic projects including LOM and feasibility studies.
